The guy I purchased this off used the rack to ride from Mongolia to the UK. I used it from the UK to Nepal. It's made from tubular steel and was painted black, its scratched and seen some abuse but isn't too heavy.
The racks the best I have seen out there and is very solid. It links around the back and triangulates the rear of the bike from the oe/blue footpeg mounts which strengthens the ttrs weak sub frame.
I can include the tool tube if you like that attach nicely to the frame, not sure I have all 4 of the large jubilee clips so assume you'd need to buy 4.
Was planning on keeping this but I dont think I'll do a long distance trip again for a while.
