I have a UK registered 2004 TTR250 which I want to re-register (Matriculate) in Portugal, as I live there for half of the year, and the trail riding there is superb. In order to do this, I need to have a Certificate of Confirmity for the EU, which is something that is issued when the bike is new. I bought the bike second hand 8 years ago, so I don’t have this. Does anyone have have one that they can scan and email to me, or if not, let me know how to obtain one? Many thanks, Tim 07860418977.
Is there an "e" number in section K on your V5 document. If there is, this is the Conformity identifier which I believe you can use in place of an actual certificate. Alternatively there are people on the web who will provide a coc, for a fee of course. You may need to change the headlight lens from a left hand dip to a right hand dip if Bluey headlights are handed. Other than that there shouldn't be any other physical issues. Have you tried emailing Yamaha customer services (not a dealer - they won't give a damn, but the main company I think is contactable)
Good luck,
Simon.
