I couldn't find a jealous emoji but I am - very jealous!

But, as has said before, we don't have roos, drop bears, earthquakes, hurricanes, year-long droughts, poisonous snakes and bush fires to contend with here in SW UK.....

There was no time to avoid it, it came up so quick & I saw the gap was less on the right so to the right it was.  Other issues were should I stop could I touch the sleeper, would I fall over & off the bridge but of course at the time it was oh bugger !!!!

Last & only time I rode this section was back in early 2007 & after 4 rail bridges I was a nervous wreck, I guess we were lucky as all four of the riders on this loop were good riders otherwise it could have nasty if someone had an panic attack & braked.

Even if it's raining in the city it's dry up where we were riding, did around 220kms with very little blacktop, 7 kms from my place to the dirt so all good.

Screenshot from google earth showing the route along the old railway

LOL, plenty of roos to contend with but as long as you have a clear run it's ok, they tend to hide behind trees & bushes, I hit a baby brown snake two weeks ago but no big deal. It is pretty dry out there & we have a week of 38-42c coming up but all in all we are lucky having the room & open spaces.

We're off to the Victorian High country again in mid March & got to do a little more work on the WRR (close to 16000kms) will put rego on the TTR & take it out on a few loops along the railway line.

Cheers Terry

I know what you mean, Brian.

We could do with a few old, redundant railway tracks to trail in Devon.

How about one of these emojis to use:-

or even this ......  jealous.jpg

Well if any of you guys come to Australia & South Australia you are welcome to come out for a ride, I even have a TTR you can ride & see my backyard of summer tracks, old railway tracks & dirt roads....200-250kms without a single traffic light, fresh air & sunshine

Cheers Terry
