Thistles and Bah Humbug !

Frank Thomas glove, still nice and comfy, warm and waterproof after only eighteen months of light use, but has now started to wear thin, tear apart along the side of the index finger, with whatever the low quality outer layer material used in the construction failing, exposing a white waterproofing layer beneath ... Grrr !

But, here in wild, wet West Cork, I look on the bright side ... It could be worse ... and the G/f has hinted that she has bought me a nice replacement pair of waterproof Alpinestar's for Christmas !

We don't need thermal gloved Here but I kept wearing  out so called top bike gloves currently into my second year using riggers gloves just getting run In

My wife just asked if she could order new riding gear for Christmas  but I said no it's taken years to get all the battle scars on the gear

Did say I will have brake pads and a rear tire

I hate the kinda of suede leather they use. It eventually deteriorates and rips. Had some Wolf Titanium trousers with that as a double layer on the knees. Soaked up so much water when wet and eventually just fell apart
