If you're not in the right mood, it's hard to get motivated, but I've never come back from a ride thinking "wish I'd stayed at home"! Even when coming home injured.
Ice in the camelback helps in the heat too...

I like to put the camel back in  the fridge the night before will add a bit of ice as well

I've also drilled a few holes in the bottom front of the bash plate since rebuilding the motor seems to be cooling a bit better as long as there's no mud .still plenty of protection (got to be good on hot dusty days having extra airflow over the cases)

Got the idea looking at ttrs set up for racing that run the standard engine bars. That get more air flow over the cases.

Took mine up to the local airfield to learn how to do wheelies...

I have been here a few times now and am making progress but by god its slow progress. I'm late to biking and even later to anything other than riding on the roads but always a willing learn.

The annoying thing is all those Youtube videos make it look so easy! I must have had more bottle as a young lad.

I promise to share any footage of me falling off in the future.

What exhaust is that Tony? Looks nice, but is it loud?

Hi, The exhaust is a "Dominator exhast - lighter and louder, restricted section cut from header."

It is probably a lot louder than I would go for but I really quite like it :)

Ridaz, what gearing you using for wheelies out of interest? The front wheel on mine isn't overly keen on coming up even with 52/14! Maybe It's just me though..

Hi - The bike advert says "Geared down 14/50 (14/44 stock) Will cruise at 50-55mph but still drag my fat arse around the trails at a decent pace."

I never really understood gearing though and would like to suggest that is also to blame for the lack of front wheel lift...... but i suspect its more my own lack of bottle.

I have to say gravity has a good hold on my front wheel .

Have noticed since rebuilding mine it now likes to lift the front wheel at random times  in the first three gears . Kind of cool but it's soon returned to the ground.

Lots of you tube how to wheelie try the graham Jarvis one I've watched it but haven't tried it

Slide your weight back on the seat to lighten the front..
and you can find balance point with out the front
wheel being as high of the ground..
if you go to high just dap the rear brake the front will be back on the ground..
or lean forward. to move the weigh back to the front...

silly thing is the only bike i have been able to wheelie for any distance was

a RD400E... dirt bike I can get maybe 30 metres on a good day..

good day are getting fewer and fewer now...
