I am sure the TT350 will be great fun!

I have always thought it odd that Yamaha did a complete new build for the TTR250 and virtually none of the TT250 and TT350 parts are interchangeable with it. Also, why didn't Yamaha make a 350 version of the TTR? The components were certainly engineered to take a lot more than 250cc confuse

I have also held the belief that a 350cc engine is ideal for a trail bike (in the UK at least) for lard asses like me. Having ridden a Husky 350 on a trail riding holiday in Malaga it confirmed my suspicions.

It's just the all-important e-start that's missing on the TT350.....

I hope your nephew lets you have a go Les smile

Brian

Back in the day I had a 350 I sold it and got a 250 because the government here raised the road registration fee for over 250cc  so it was a lot cheaper to have virtually the same bike .i think that's why they didn't come into Australia for very long

I done alot of rides with a guy that had one for years... never seemed to have any issues with it..
he sold it to get a more of a ADV bike for longer rides... He ended up buying a 700 Transalp...

The 350 size bikes wern't that popular here for some reason... There were never meany TT/XT350 and DR350 around..

we also got the XT version with all the road gear..
