Clutch adjuster - bolt lengths

Every day is a school day!

Although it was possible to adjust the clutch on Steve's 350 build to get the pointer in the correct position (see here), the bolt did seem a long way in. Shoulda realised that the bolt was from a 6-plate clutch and Steve was upgrading to a 7-plate which, ideally, requires a longer bolt wink

Glad you're making progress with the build. Was there enough thread left for the locknut or is it too far in to risk?
Broke my prized 142 main jet today. Distraught, but needs a bigger one anyway with the Motad pipe. The number of times that carb's been apart, I'm suprised that's the only damage, so far!
