and the only other thing would be a dead batery so i charged it and then put it on the jump setting even and it did the same thing
so i think its just the starter fak it im getting a yz and im just going to keep the ttr in the dark i dont even wanna ride it anymore
its depressing like yamaha is reliable but god sake i cant ride this bike anymore i dumped endless amounts of money getting it
fixed now its broke again i spend more time wrenching than riding tbh i wanted to just blow it up. i loved this bike but i cant do it anymore.
this isnt the yamaha i know or the bike tbh.
like this is the best damn bike ive ever ridden but i just dont think its worth it again ive already burnt too much
money when i could have bought a new bike and put goodies on it like its so damn depressing i sold all of my
videogames and everything to dump it into this bike and it does nothing but fail on me now like i have
beat this bike to death but its never done this rediculos **** im sorry for being profain but it makes me mad
and sad at the same time its glad it didnt start because i probably would have sent a rod flying or something like
it makes me want to cry like a baby.
That's bad news fellah. Sometimes these things get you down. Hang in there.
You could try a new set of brushes in the starter - cheaper than a whole new starter motor. Sometimes even if the solenoid clicks, it isn't making contact - try shorting out the contacts to bypass it. If the motor still won't spin, it's the motor you need to look at (or the battery earths)
Can't help much with the tyre/tire. Is there a spoke nipple damaged, or a flake of corrosion on the rim or beadlock, or something stuck in the tire that might be causing it? If you blow the tube up and see where the hole is in relation to the valve that would give you an idea of where to concentrate the search. If you're just pinching the tube, you need more practice
Good advice by Simon, sure you will get it sorted. You should be able to take the back off the starter and see if the brushes move freely, before you go buying.
