New battery time so she's dying is it worth going to lithium ion or sticking to sealed lead/glass matt the bike is running a Motobatt yellow mb7u the Lithium is about £20 more is it worth it the Motobatt has lasted well I put it on when I got the bike so around 4 years also how do the Lithium battery's play ball on an Optimate charger

Mines still on the original battery after 8years

I'd be tempted to try the new  lithium jobs as they are super light and have very slow self discharge

I don't use a charger so haven't looked it up

If your charger is a maintenance / float charger it may have different float voltages for different battery types
