just back from riding the French TET from Rodez to carcassone , then across to Foix , then back to Cahor on as many GR routes as we could find , the two ttrs on the trip performed brilliantly and didn't miss a beat , just under 2k kilometres in 6 days of everything the French countryside could throw at us from fast flowing gravel trails to very steep wooded rock climbs , great little bike ,
Hi Brian , we camped a couple of nights and stayed in auberge and hotels and one night in cabin on campsite , we used Garmin Montana 600 with the TET download , worked very well , bit of road work on first leg from Rodez but fantastic trails , we were pushing on as the lead rider was on an KTM 400 exc , plenty of info for camping etc on the Garmin , Hope they have a great trip
Hi Allen , most of the trails were easy enough , some very fast , we did have some fairly tough ones as well big rocks steep downhill over loose boulders , some steep climbs over rocks , one of these was shown in video clip on TET Facebook page , it shows me struggling to get the ttr over some rocks , what it didn't show was Phil had stalled his KTM getting over them which cause Steve to lay down with his ttr leaving me nowhere to go , I then had to start on a rocky bank to climb over the rocks !!!! A few keyboard warriors thought they could do better but have probably still got stabilisers on their bikes !!!! Knobs !!! Young man like yourself should be no problem 👍
