Some bits I have for sale.

A pair of raid gold wheels. I have washed them off but would come up better.

They run straight but have some corrosion on the inside especially the rear. A bunch of spokes need tightening and they have various scrapes and scratching as they were used offroad for years. So not for a concourse bike by any means they are battle scared! Closeup pics of the worst bits. happy to hear offers on these but if they aren't worth much i may just keep them as spares..

im thinking 150 the pair??

next up a rear shock from a blue. Or OE bike no leaks shaft not rusty or pitted. Adjustments free. turn and click as they should. I haven't ridden on it but felt good damping when bouncing up and down on bike. 100 quid?

raid toolbox thing that sits under the side panel 10 pounds?

used k and n filter 15 pounds.

a decent carburettor off the oe engine ive stripped it fully sonic cleaned it and built it back up and lubed all pivots spindles etc.. ready to fit. 100 pounds.

i also have one front white mudgaurd from a raid. a badly black painted white one from the oe front. a raid rear has 4 holes drilled for fender bag. and a white wr400 front one.. offers on these they are cheep enough new tbh.

other bits i need to sort out like loads of engine bits. raid front fork legs and yokes. raid swingarm and linkage. and loads of other bits and bobs from my rebuild..

Happy to package and post at cost any above. Offers invited on all bits. I need to recoup some costs of my build.. getting out of hand lol

will add kmore pics as and when i take them..

si

Hey Si,

What does the exhaust sound like, is it ridiculously loud? I like the look of it and might be interested in it for my build but only if it's not too extreme! I'd also be interested in the rear wheel (if you'd be interested in selling them individually) as I'm after a rear hub (would be happy for you to keep the rim and spokes).

I'm not really sure what the value of the parts are but I suppose I'll start by offering 80 for the exhaust and 50 for the rear hub.

Cheers,

The Motad was designed to be very near to the sound of the standard exhaust, but it is slightly louder, but just by 2 decibels and a nicer sound in my opinion. Half the weight of the original as well smile

Hi robs
I will have a think about the rear wheel or hub. I would obviously prefer to sell as a set but will listen to all offers .
I'm just about to go on holiday for 10 days so I can't do anything or post anything much right now but I will check here from time to time wilst I'm away WiFi depending.
And as Steve said the motad is an awesome silencer nice and quiet and sounds great and I'm disappointed to have to sell it but I've moded my bike too much to fit. Price wise I was hoping for maybe 100 for the silencer but I'm not sure if that is reasonable or not I think they were close to double that new iirc.

Si: I'll do 100 for the exhaust, let me know when you're back and we can sort out payment and what not. Also by then someone may have offered to take both wheels off your hands..

Cheers,

Not noticeably louder but adds a nice bit of bass. I did take a before video to compare but somehow the phone ate it.

Do you still have the raid toolbox thing? Would it fit the OE?

The raid toolbox wouldn’t fit under the OE side panels. I think the OE also lacks one of the lower mounting points

im glad yours iis running well now.. certainly saves costing for another carb.. no probs at all :)

650Katman
Prettey much as Moo has said.. it wont fit under OE panels i pretty sure and to be honest there are better solutions to carrying tools i would say..

Im open to offers on all bits i really could do with the space before they all get stored away never to be seen until the next yearly clearout.. lol.
so im thinking 40 quid for front wheel i will keep the rear and fit a trial type tyre for events i need one..
carb 80 quid. posted.
seat 30 quid plus post.
rear shock 70 quid posted.
tool box free if your happy to cover postage cost and wait till i get around to sending it..
mudgaurds make an offer ??

i have a calipers, master cylinders, raid forks and yokes. raid swinging arm. another frame from an OE no understandable number on it though along with no sidestand mount and a hideous shade of green,, (see my build thread "dairing raid?" for pics of this..)
lots of other bits like airbox battery box dented raid tank dented oe tank footpegs, nuts bolts etc.. loom. std front pipe. engine bits etc.. feel free to message me..

Hi Black8Driver,

I am interested in buying the seat to cut down as I'm a short arse. Could you post some pictures of it so I have an idea of the condition. Is the rear fender you have a OE white fender? What condition is that in too?

Thanks, Mat.

BikerMat

sorry i havnt been on here a lot.

the seat has someone interested will let you know how that goes..

the rear mudguard is white and pretty reasonable condition. the rear light is on it and ive not checked weather the nuts are siezed on as yet. there is 4x 6mm holes drilled into the mudguard previously used for fitting a tool bag..

Dear Black8driver

I'm intrested in most of the parts. I would need the carb, the shock, but first of all the wheels. So my first question is whether you would sell the wheels in a set?

Than I would like to know if it's possible to ship to Hungary.

Cheers,

Gabor

Sorry to get back to you so late..
The shock is sold the carb is currently on eBay. The wheels I'm tempted to keep or maybe just the rear as I need to run a trials type tyre for some events I want to do..
There is loads of stuff I have to go through depending on what I would like to keep for spares and what I can sell..
Been pretty busy recently will post back as and when I can.
Si
