Been along time since I have touched this engine and thought it time to do some more but I'm stuck, I have circled 3 bits I'm stuck on can one of you on here advise me on what bolts in these hole or hopefully nothing does because I have nothing that on my engine shelf that would look to fit 🤔🤔🤔

You guessed right Martin! From the best photo I could find 1 and 2 are blanks (why bother Mr Yamaha??) and 3 is for the kickstart stopper if you have one fitted wink

Just took it around the block seems to be OK received_443216539544069.jpeg

Nearly ready for mot

Need to sort speedo out just needs a magnet washer thing I'm hoping also my indicators are flashing fast, would you guys think it's the regulator or because I have fitted aftermarket indicators???

Well done Martin - excellent work!

After-market indicators tend to have smaller wattage bulbs fitted. What are in yours 10W?

If so, you need a flasher unit to match - or put in higher wattage bulbs - or put resistors into the circuit wink

Hi Brian it doesn't say what wattage they are just says 12leds bulbs and says low power consumption.
Think I'll give the resistors ago see if that sorts it👍👍👍

Just removed my sprag, it looks to be OK but obviously isn't as it was making a spin back noise when turning engine off and have stripped the starter pinion and also knackard the 19/72 starter gear

Just fitted new second hand starter pinion off a YAMAHA MAJESTY 250 1998 straight replacement £30 including postage

Looks nice

Easy to adjust the idler screw, just turn it a bit to increase tick over.

Carburettor - Complete New Genuine Yamaha

It's the one below the choke.
