clutch not working

Absolutely definitely the clutch sticking? If the engine just stopped when you put her in gear, could be a sidestand switch issue...

Clutch cable adjusted ok?

Not too difficult a job to take the side cover off. Make sure the kickstart shaft is clean so you don't damage the seal as it slides over. I have a Montesa 315r trials bike which is notorious for a sticky clutch when cold - you start up and get rolling before slamming into gear and riding around with the lever in blipping the throttle and dragging the brake until eventually it frees off! (Not ideal, but the manual just says start the engine and allow to warm up before use, which never works) You could try a version of this by getting a tow start from someone and ride around a bit in the hope that warming it up and working it will free it.

If you put the front wheel up against a wall (or other solid item!), put the TTR in first gear, pull in the clutch and thumb the starter, what happens - does the starter try and push the bike forwards or just not operate?

If the latter then Simon's suggestion is worth looking at as is the clutch switch.

If the clutch is sticking.... start it get it hot have someone push you... then put it into gear
while moving and ride it in first off and on the throttle while holding the clutch lever in...
it will release eventurely...

Stuck clutch fixed. As per the above post.

Tied the clutch into the handle bars. Started the bike and let it tick over until the crankcase was very hot, then blipped the throttle a few times. Turned off the engine put it in first the just pushed the bike back and forth and it freed.

All's good now thank you for your help.
