Wet & wild Sunday ride

Well we have a wet & wild weekend here in South Australia, been raining all weekend so what better way to spend a Sunday than take out a dirt bike, contacted my mate about a ride today, so two TTR's, I led but when we hit the Summer tracks I got Dave to go in front for more interesting video

Will have several videos from today, no photos & no off's

Looks like a good day out as well . It's good to ride a bit of mud and deal with  rain to keep the wet weather skills up

I've got a day clear next weekend so out again

 Any day on the bike is good, after we split to go home I got soaked, grip level on the TTR with D606's is nowhere as high as the WR but still a shed load of fun

A long time ago I was taking a group out it was cold wet and just a miserable day  stopped for a break and nothing but smiles all-round with a resounding I wouldn't want to be anywhere else

 On the Tuesday of our Victorian High country trip it was wet & cold, could not see, rain & dust at the same time but do we regret it,  no way & we still talk about it, even the fact that we could not see was fun in a strange sort of way

You are lucky to have a warmer climite...
Starting get wet and cold over here.... the bikes are parked up for the next 4 months
or so...getting wet & cold now takes the fun out of riding... plus my ribs are still
not quite right yet are my last little ride on the TTR....

 Gee don't know what I would do with myself if I was unable to ride for 4 months, might have to spend time with the wife or something....best way to get a divorce !!!!

Rarely gets below 12c during the day here & even that is too cold for me, 20-30c is ideal

 64yrs for sure, been riding since I was 16, riding on the dirt since I was 18yrs old.  Derek from Alice springs is older than me, video from last year in the Flinders, me 63 & Derek 73

Loved this vid too

'bikes i've had'

Do not know to much about triumphs , but my uncle had one back in late 90's. He totally rebuilt it.
It got sold to another family member, must try and see if i can get a pic of it, think it's still in the family....
Have to ask my cousin, he'll know where it is.. or a bit more history on it. As it featured at his wedding. If anybody knows what happened to it, he will.

 My two Triumph's are modern classics, the Scrambler is a 2006 & the Thruxton is a 2009 but both are the true classic Triumph styling
