I am trying to put the settings back to the standard setting, and the rebound adjuster says it should be "9 Clicks out".
I have got myself confused and now wonder which direction "out" means. Is it out away from the spring, or out away from the lower mounting? Sorry if this is yet another daft question, but I clearly need to click it right "in" so that I get the right adjustment "out" !!
Also. is the raid setting the same as the OE as that is the manual I am working from?
I have never seen an owner's manual for a Raid so I can't help with the settings - sorry!
My guess is that there aren't any manuals in English as the Raid was only ever a grey import to the UK.
There are some Raid-specific workshop manuals on eBay but they are in Japanese and I don't know if they would include the shock settings but might be worth asking? They might sell you a scan of the relevant page or pages.
I hope I am wrong and a Raid owner will come along to say they have an owners manual and can tell you the settings from that.
Thanks Brian, I am working from the OE manual as its really a starting point and I am happy enough with that, but which way do you think is full in? Towards the spring or towards the end?
Job done, I have just checked my manual and it doesn't have that page (8-28), it only goes to 8-06 so I am not surprised that I couldn't see that diagram! I just have a blurry photo, Still, got there in the end,
thanks again Brian
Best regards,
Dave

It is worth getting the pucca owners manual as there is quite a lot of stuff in there that isn't in the service/workshop manual.
Cheap enough to download from Totally TTRs - see http://totallyttrs.com/epages/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84/Categories/Shop/Workshop_and_owners_manuals
Just in case there are new owners on the forum who aren't aware, the main cause of the rebound adjuster not "clicking" is low pressure in the shock.
I have a shock here that I am rebuilding and it has hardly any pressure in it - only just enough to slowly return the rod to full extension over 5 minutes or so. The clicker doesn't click at all and will only do so once the shock is back to full pressure.
So if your TTR is pogoing then an easy check on whether you have pressure in the shock is to check the clicker
We checked the pressure in my shock and it was under 40lbs so pressurised it to 125lbs.
I am pleased to say that the rod now returns properly after fully compressing it (no spring fitted) and I have 33 clicks on the rebound adjuster
I probably would get the full 40 clicks as per the handbook if we had put a bit more pressure in. The rebuild guide suggests a minimum of 130lbs - see here
But bearing in mind the standard setting is only 9 clicks out (from fully turned in position), I am happy!
I was very impressed at how easy it was to check and top up the pressure using Steve's needle kit.
