Yamaha TTR250 - 250cc trail bike - the perfect dual purpose commuter/trail bike.
Reliable and economical four stroke with 6 gears.

Suitable for someone who has passed the A2 as less than 33 kW. 

Lots of information on this very popular and sought after bike at www.ttr250.com 

The TTR250 is very economical and will do a day's trail riding on a tank of petrol. Plus it has an "all-day" comfy seat unlike more enduro-based machines. 

Perfect beginner's trail bike but also suitable for the more experienced rider who realises that it isn't necessary to have a big engine to enjoy themselves on Devon's technical lanes. 

  • First registered August 2004 
  • MOT until January 2019 
  • Thoroughly overhauled and refurbished by the TTR Guru (Brian Sussex) back in 2009! 
  • Dual start - electric AND kickstart 
  • Mitas ET01 trials tyre on the rear and good metzeler 6 days extreme on the front - both road legal 
  • Indicators 
  • Fully adjustable suspension front and rear to suit your riding style 
  • Renthal bars and grips 
  • Rear footpegs 
  • Handguards with metal re-enforcement 
  • Bashplate 
  • Lowering link
  • Bar risers
  • The gold rims set it off nicely. 


Recent work includes new cables, front disc and pads, swingarm bearings and seals,oiland filter and air filter plus the exhaust is properly sorted. 


There may be cheaper TTRs around but the choice is yours. This one is a bit special – you won’t be disappointed…. 


I have a couple of trail bikes at the moment and am selling the most valuable to raise funds for a 4x4. I am beginning to regret that decision already!
