We're off to the Victorian high country next March but some of the lads were over there last week & one of the big hills is Billy Goats Track

Derek the 73yr old on the TTR got up using 1st & 2nd, it looks like one hell of a hill.

None of these videos are any of us !!!!  but a TTR has been up there

Wow - that is some hill!  I think the camera also did not really do justice to how steep it is in places - demonstrated by the guys bike sliding backwards with front wheel locked when he stopped to catch his breath......

Bet it would be interesting in the wet wink

 Sure does & Derek our 73yr old mate rode up there last week on a TTR, standard gearing, 1 & 2nd all the way up the hill & then they rode back down.

New tyres were fitted for the trip & we were talking about our planned trip over there next year, my TTR has lower gearing which could be an advantage.

Terry.i would like to do a hc trip next.was just talking about this with mate last week.but we are unsure about best time and itinary.
He also mentioned a guy called derik who go's that way on a drz i think!

 Guys including several of my riding mates were over there last week, very hot ( mid to high 30's ) 3 of them are with us in March, unknown what the weather will be like...could be hot or raining perhaps both.

Our Derek was on a TTR
