Anyone one a fix for this 93 airbox, bolts sheared, drilling heated the nut up, nut turned, should not be a prob bonding it with an adhesive and clamping up for a few days, nut size is 6 mm diameter, length of nut is 15 mm, 12 mm arrows the flats and closed at one end, open would be ok,I've seen connector nuts which are 13 mm a\f ,was thinking of exhaust nuts 6 mm possibly, anyone used any good bond, tried drilling and extractor snapped wouldn't be surprised if they were original,so just wondering if anyone has used an alternative nut 12 mm a/f and 15. mm or longer
cheers for the idea, perfect terminology for google, found these, bit of epoxy should be good ,they do a minimum of 5 per order,£12 +vat,if anyone wants 2,the other thought was you could just epoxy in a short bolt with possibly a nut screwed up to the head and fix with a stainless flanged nut https://www.anchorinserts.co.uk/parts/BW4922.php
