A little fun with my youngest this weekend. Because of fires we had to drive 90 minutes each way for a 4 hour ride (to Mowich).  He buried it on a steep switchback, good workout getting out of that (at 5000 ft).  This is my 2002, back to stock jets (50/137) with the T4 slip on and open-top airbox, it runs great from 2000 ft up to 6000+ at the factory middle needle setting.  With the stock pipe I'm one to the lean and it still isn't quite as smooth at higher elevation, runs better with this T4 (with sound restrictor and spark arrestor of course Mr. forest service!).

Funny you should mention that, I've had a 110mm in the garage for weeks, just can't get seem to get around to it.  I got the bike on the left used with a brand new S12 Michelin (still had the nubbies and all).  I suspect this S12 is 5+ years old, so it may have deteriorated, but it was shredded after 300 miles, chunks off all over the place.  To compare check the AC-10 on my other bike which I put on around the same time, pretty much the same miles and conditions and riders, and loads of miles left.  So I agree awesome tire for trail.  Need to get that new AC-10 on (110, have 100 on the other bike).  Pic on the way to Huckleberry Flats last weekend.

Know you posted this in the past somewhere, but what do you like on the front? For dirt I mean. There has got to be something to make this front end steer better.

For a all round tyre Golden tyre GT216...

To make the front bite Always keep your weight foward & above the bikes
centre line & weight the outside peg...
tube tyres I never run the front higher than 15psi around 12psi is normal ..

i use kenda carlsbads front and rear not generally good for road but damn if i can find an offroad terrain they cant chew through like a tractor they are designed for carlsbad bluegrove MX track and really reliable. They come in sticky compound or normal i use stickies and where i ride there are creeks/wet and dry clay/mud/sand/dirt/gravel and hard rock and it handles them all without worry but they arent made for road and it wont take long for them to be ground to balds on it.

www.kenda.com.au/products/category/CTTFTJMX ( i dont know how to post images haha so theres the kenda webpage link)

For 100% off road. In hard terrain have a look at motor h/t desert tractionator  heaps of grip lasted 9 months off off-road super tough tire

really loud on road but handles it ok

just ordered an ac10  great off road but wears a lot faster if you ride sealed roads (I have some grass track enduro lined up so putting the softer ac10s
