You do everything yer can for them give them what yer can..

He turned 16 a couple days ago.. and has started swating for

his bike licence.... Have booked him in for the basic handling test..

So I ask him what bike dose he want ?..

with out any warning , nothing ...he says he wants a dam green bike..bleh

kids gone feral needs putting down like a mad dog..

I surpose I should be greatful he wasn't talking orange...

Not real sure if my credit card dose green not tryed it before..

 

The green thing he  wants is a KLX250S.....

We had 3 green machines with us up in the Flinders, 2 x KLX250's one with the 300cc barrel & a KLX450, the 450 was a nice unit, 250 got every where we went....we had 3 x TTR this year.

I've had, yellow, Blue, Red but no green as yet, just get to get the best bike for the money LOL

If its your credit card don't you get to pick the colour??

Its great riding with your kids.

I'm actually off for a ride this morning with my young bloke. Yehaa.

BTW it will be the TTR250 v his WR250F.
Hope he can keep up. If I can get him out of bed!!!

Hey as long as its not plated ... mine wants a street bike but my credit card says no. Start em on dirt bikes they'll have some respect for speed and pain. Local Rory Sullivan rides the 250 BTW: www.youtube.com/watch

 He has been riding since he was 12...

he dose most of the trail rides with me on his CRF150..

he's dieing to have a go at a enduro with me...

the new bike will be plated as he is old enough

to get a licence now...

Think I may have talked him out of a green bike...
And into a yellow TTR250....... well Suzuki version
of The TTR.. DRZ250....

Nice, same electric start, air cooled simple design we all like. And there is 300 cc big bore kits available !!!

Ex missus had a klx 250. She bought it brand new. Bottom end failure at 530km.

I don't trust klx 250s / kawasakis.

 530ks.... sounds more like the person that put it togeather than the motor..

Thats so far from normal....

Either way, I don't trust green bikes. I will never buy one.
