I’ve had it for almost a couple of years. Bought for green laning and a long trip.
It’s done 22000 miles as I used it for a trip to Kyrgyzstan in 2016 but you wouldn’t know it - it’s in excellent shape, just the usual minor scrapes on the plastics. In preparation for the trip I had all the rear suspension and swing arm bearings replaced, valve clearances adjusted, new brake pads all round, it also had a new battery and new top quality o-ring chain and sprockets fitted.
It has a FMF Q4 exhaust, aluminium bashplate, case saver, renthal bars, hand guards and customised gel seat.
It currently has the green laning tyres fitted but the bike will come with a pair of part worn road tyres (Heidenau K60s). MOT’d ‘til November.
The bike is available in 3 guises:
Round the world ready – with 22l Acebis tank and bespoke pannier rack (fitted by Zen Overland who also strengthened the rear sub frame) - £2200 ono
With the 22l Acebis tank (pannier rack removed) - £2000 ono
With standard tank (pannier rack removed) - £1800 ono
Tell you what, if I had the room, I would have had his arm off at that price, Sweet
I agree- that bike is light on the money as an adventure prepared bike-(extras)- its a great deal for someone who has dreamed of doing a trip...1/2 the dream is supplied..you just need the destination!
