What is as reliable as a ttr?

My latest buy, as I completed my motorcycle licence the other day (After three learner's permits and ten years of owning off road/enduro bikes) wanted to treat myself to something that I had always desired. I first rode one when I was 14 and fell in love straight away.

The most common bike in Australia.

I bought it without viewing it, it has rego 27000 ks and cost $900.

Ones in Adelaide with that mileage start at $1400. So I was chuffed. Needs new brakes and probably a carby clean and tune, but it's a neat rig. Very happy.

Go the ct 110!

I didn't really think $900 was silly money for it, I think it is a fair price especially considering the reliability of them. Are they dearer in NZ?

Yeah, 60,000 k for $1000 and up does sound a bit silly!

Another reason to be happy with 27,000k for $900 :)

20170410_115128.jpgSo I have done some mods to the postie. Costing a total of $14.  Next will be whitewall tires found them for 150 for a pair, maybe red spoke wraps and that'll be it.  Ill keep the trials tyres. Going for a cheesy harley look.

No Pendo, going to keep her on the bitumen. TTR is for the dirt.  :)
