A sad day in British Motorcycle history.

Looking at the news item I can see an old friend of mine sitting on the grass behind his Goldie.

This gentleman is called Bob Rogerson and he's in the Northumberland VMCC.

Mahindra tried to buy land rover but Tata eventually secured the brand in 2008. I actually think it hasn't been too bad for land rover to be honest. Both mahindra and tata are massive companies. Might be good to see a company with  $ like mahindra revitalise a British icon. The proof will be in the pudding....

Mahindra will have a lot of catching up to do in terms of the impact on the market the Triumphs have had over past years with no real competition. Triumph have an attractive range and I was sad to miss their local launch night of the new Bonneville Bobber.

In terms of the BSA "brand", I think I will stick with the "real" thing until I need an electric leg wink
