Now that I have a bike that doesn't kill my knees, I'm sure I'll be there.

Look out for the weirdy beardy long haired fat git pretending to be a marshal.

Not long to go now! Counting down the day'ssmile

Top tip for anyone who has not been before................They don't give out the maps for you to plot your route until about 8pm on the Friday, so try not to get to pi**ed before then, as plotting your route will be very painful. Believe me, I have been there beforebleh

I would like to see if we could get a photo of all attending TTR's, maybe the biggest collection of TTR's ever?????

Steve

Taffy is an English nickname for Welsh people. Either comes from the name David, which is a common Welsh name, or because Cardiff was built around the river Taff.. Not sure

I think you're correct there.

Coming from London the first large town in Wales you'd have got to many moons ago would have been Cardiff.

And there is also a Paddy Dakar... guess where that one is held.

I'll be there on the TTR. I'll be camped behind the Marshall's 'Hut'

I won't be able to help anyone with the route planning. biggrin

Thanks for the English lesson 😁, we septics are a little slow. Paddy I understand, never heard Taffy that way. Can I assume this won't offend my relatives in Mumbles?

It may offend them, but only because in the rhyme "Taffy was a Welshman" Taffy is mentioned as being a thief. blankstare

Here's the rhyme

But if they're true Welsh in Mumbles they'll be impressed.   wink

Thermal undies included!

Just hoping my fork gaiters turn up as I found a mahoosive gash in one of them yesterday.

Who is in your team Locky?
Juv(anyone have a first aid kit)ecu?

Any form of satnav is banned.
There has been some that have been know to use them in the past and they would have been disqualified.

It's orienteering after all and for charity. Winning is not what it's about.
