I just purchased one of these today, so should arrive a 2-3 weeks from the US

I don't have enough strength in my wrists to fit a D606 rear tyre, I can do the front, but the back, just can't manage it.

I can get them off OK, just not the reverse.

After seeing this thing I was sold.

I did a D606 rear today, bloody hard in 42c...will be interested to hear the feedback once you get it

 

He makes it look easy

Ive got one of these they are really good tools, this version is a copy of the original however. The original is by Kauritmoto.

I would like to try it in 42c instead of 2c, rubber is solid at that temperaturenono

I made one of those.... worked ok... I cut the gear & rack but
I didn't put enough engagement on the teeth & it started to slip
after a while... it had a 16:1 ratio...
the trick is lots of very small bites...

see if I can find a pic of it...
