TT250 Raid

21K Miles...No carb overhaul

Beautiful bike- pulls, rides as should etc

Cuts out when on tickover occasionally.

I've adjusted air and tickover...I suspect it's idle/Pilot jet... I HAVE NOT CHECKED AIR FILTER...not done a proper service yet...that will come

are my suspicions correct?

...or can anyone else (more knowledgeable) throw in some alternatives please

Hi Rod

If the bike has been stood for a while my guess it is a partially blocked pilot jet - cheap to fix but line up a new float bowl gasket before you have a go at it wink

Brian  thanks....I suspect the carb will need a full overhaul (bike used as commuter.1000miles max per year.) ....I had planned for a carb overhaul...I do it to all bikes for any film...,  your knowledge is invaluable (as always)
