Hey, 

Should my bike start in any gear with the clutch engaged? I can only get the electric start to work if the bike is in neutral? Just wondered if this was the case with these bikes?

PS. see pic for a very overgrown lane that I fell off in yesterday! The brambles hurt!

Hi Dan

Good old Barnstaple lanessmile Love it over there! Maybe not so much with the brambles this time of year. Is that lane near Molland??

Faulty clutch switch by the sounds of it. We have genuine ones or aftermarket in the shop.

Another alternative is to read the post further down, it will tell you a quick way to disable the switch, if you prefer.

Mine was doing the same, i have since disabled the switch, buy unplugging it at the loom connector under the tank and bridging the two terminals with a small loop of wire, not my bike starts when i want it to regardless of in gear or not.
