These plugs were fitted to all TTRs that didn't come with kickstarts fitted but they don't appear on any fiche and Fowlers parts guy couldn't find it neither
Has anyone on here bought one by any chance and know its part number please?

A surprising response from Yamaha! If I want a new blanking plug then I have to buy the casing to go with it at £268 plus VAT
This is what they said:
Hello Mr. Sussex
Thank you for your enquiry.
Although the information we hold for imported machines is limited, according to the available parts information there is no blanking plug that can be ordered independently from the cover itself.
If you can provide your preferred dealer with the frame number for the bike they will be able to confirm the price and availability for a replacement crank case cover.
Brian if you give me some sizes I can turn a tight fit alloy one you can stick in from the inside or outside with a dab of silicone or something. or better job would be two part bolt together plug for it but I will need the case for that or some very good measuring on you part of the two half's
You could try a core plug from a motor factors if there's one of a suitable size. I've used one for the decomp. hole, don't see why one wouldn't work down there. You could take the cover off and push the plug into place from inside if you wanted it to look correct (rather than having the recess showing) Bit of loctite flange sealant to help it seal...
Disappointing reply from Yamaha!
They fit nicely in the cover - slightly proud but bearing in mind the alternative to get a genuine Yamaha plug is to buy the whole cover, I reckon they are very acceptable
