I was more like "trapped" than lost , at the QLD Motopark. Did the hardest and longest "red" trail and half way through ive had enough so headed back on the emergency /rescue trail. Well thats when i got lost and was using the sun to head north towards a highway. Seen a road from the top of a mountain and headed down and down , it never seemed to stop decending and then i came across this locked gate. No way i was going back up the mountain as i was exhausted. I turned the fuel off and dragged the ttr under a barbed wire fence. I was that buggered half way through the drag i had to rest to take a photo. Lucky i found abit of old wire to tie the barbs up.  Stood the bike up and it fired away.

Sounds like a good ride its always interesting navagating new places heading up the hill was the right thing to do to get an idea of where to head to

even though its mid winter its still hot on the bike in the tough stuff  and its only a short time between feeling tired to knackered

i had two local guys riding with me on saterday both admitted they were 100% lost half way through the ride

Good ending! Based on your first picture I thought you had joined the gate crashers club.

What's a "red" trail? Like a black diamond ski run? Most U.S. OHV areas use green/blue/black like ski areas.
