Just thought I'd post this here, I replaced my bars a while ago with Protaper - Seven Eighths - YZ high bend - they are exactly the same as standard but much stronger Alloy ones.

In case its handy for someone else I thought I'd post it up.

Cheers Leigh.

Thanks Leigh, this was helpful. This post too: http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t58268016/new-handle-bars/

Glad I had the heavy Moose barkbusters, they can take a beating, the stock bars not so much.

Interesting, thanks, I wish I could test out more options. I'm thinking I want less sweep and more control area, straighter bars basically, which would take me away from the CR high, but good point on the wrist angle. I've got something close to the CR high specs on bike#2 and the sweep is too much but I like the extra height.

I ended up going with the YZ hi bend which is just like the stock bars but slightly wider (maybe 10mm). I'm 5'9" the CR high bend felt too high and tends to pin my elbows in. I forgot about the thick walls on the SE bars, I need to get smaller inserts for the bark busters.
