ive not been on here for a while , the reason is I have now sold on the ttr and bought a ccm 644, to cut a long story short ,a couple of weeks ago me and our lad had our first taste of green laning and neither of us enjoyed it at all, I was frightened of hurting myself and haden was frightened of hurting his bike, luckily I had a guy waiting to buy mine so its gone to him,and now haden has had a ride on the ccm ,he,s also wanting one so his ttr will be up for sale very soon,

with a genuine 2348 miles but will rise as hes still using it to get around on
hes only had it since the 2nd april 2016 and has put 900 odd miles on it ,all on the road [ except a couple of lanes ]
he bought it off a forum member jon who had owned it since new so only the 1 previous owner although it was pre registered when john bought it so v5 says 2

it rides very well and its in very good condition,and apart from a crd pipe ,its as he bought it
due to being used on the road,its in need of a pair of tyres,[to be fair tho they weren,t very good when we fetched it ]
2 new tyres will be fitted before sale unless the new owner would prefer to take it as it is and have their own choice of tyre fitted at their leisure
what a plonker...... a price would be good hey ? hes looking for £1900 ovno

sold to a guy who lived near mt Snowdon , hes been looking for a nice one for some time,hes big into enduro riding, he didn't say he was a member but I didn't ask,very nice chap
can I take this opportunity to say a BIG THANKYOU to you all for all the help and advice you have given me,this is one of the most friendly and active forums ive been on. thanks pete like I said before,i had one 2 or 3 yrs back, it was stolen recovered ,bits missing,i had to paint it with a rattle can to get it looking respectable, but I didn't like the way it looked but I loved the way it performed and rode, this one has it all except one thing......its too loud, I know loud pipes save lives and all that but theres a limit,its a horrible sort of loud, nothing like ttr with the fmf Q4,im going to have a go at fitting some sort of baffle or re-packing, but I don't want to choke it back up especially after going to the trouble of squeezing every bit of oomph out of it, the usual stuff,150 mains 27.5 pilots lifting needle one notch, airbox lid removed,foam filter,setting up the tps [ throttle position sensor ],and best mod ..removing the gubbins, if you don't know about them they are a 644cc single cylinder engine that's straight from the Suzuki freewind 650,single exhaust port,twin carbs,twin spark plugs, about 50bhp or a bit less, although at first it felt like 100bhp after riding the ttr...all top stuff,wp suspension front and rear,fully adjustable,brembo brakes,renthal fatbars,etc anyway the gubbins as they call it, is a solenoid mounted on a bracket under the carbs,which produces a vacuum above the carb slides to slow down the opening of the slides in 1st and 2nd gear,emmissions malarkey, unplug the solenoid,blank off the pipes into the carb,and wahey hang on .... just need to quieten it down somewhat

well on a proper racetrack.......I have had it indicating 115 I think but they are known for their mickey mouse speedos,100-105 seems more realistic, you wouldn't want to do that for long tho,it gets a bit buzzy, I reckon it would have the same effect on a blocked carb that an ultrasonic cleaner jobbie......... now theres a idea
