That looks nice and light with nice bends

keep up the photo's

Axle and wheel, what you using ?

Don't you need brakes

do you think it will take the beating it's going to get ?

I'm not criticizing, it's hard to tell from a photo but shouldn't you gusset the joins for added strength ?

Cheers

BM Steve

There will be a few gussets...

it's a leaner,,, so the bike can still lean in the corners

theres a lot less strain on the car & bike..

as the bike leans the whole car steers into the corner but as the car

goes up/down over bumps it dosn't steer or steer the bike..

This is done by putting the front pivot point on the bike higher

than the rear so the front pivot has a longer arc ratio as the bike leans

pushing out or pulling in the front of the car more than the rear so the

car sits on a angle to the bike in the corners...

Wheel is a rear mag off a Suzuki FXR150  17" with bigger bearings to

take a 3/4" axle... the arm on the car is all stainless steel... still

looking for a suitable shock...

This is the 2nd leaner unit I have built...

OK, let me see if I got this right

Your saying the car pivots as well as the axle on the car ?

so that's the single bar that is sticking out with the gusset

and the little triangulated section is where the 3rd wheels is going ?

Got to see this thing in action !  biggrin

that single bar will attach just in front of the motor.. there is another  "not on in the pic"  back ferther that attachs behind

the motor under the swing arm... they are in the centre line of the bike... the car pivots on the bikes centre line

Heres a link to my first leaner build... cargo car on a XR250... yer see how it all works... quite simple really...

Way cool stuff

what are you using for the pivot joints ?

they look like steering components of some type

The last pic on page 1 on ADV gives a great idea of it's ability

I was thinking of selling the TTR one day and getting a DR650 but now maybe not !!

Pivots are 3/4" UNF rod ends / rose joints....
