I'm on half term from school an chopping into old video footage I have on the pc as I have near filled a 2nd 1Tb drive with it an came across stuff from the runs I use to go on with my mate Tom what a chap he is due to wife an kid's money an time he let his WR go an he's out of biking the lanes for the foreseeable future. now Tom could take you out on a run an the lanes was like the back of his hand he new the lot plus lots that you could ride if you had the right ID and as he works for Devon county council highways agency he had it an if picked on by a walker farmer or anybody he would pull out a card tell them we was inspecting said track for use an off we would go it always shut them up. hears a closed road about 5 miles from me an due to lack of money they will never fix the land slip but makes for a nice lane. sorry I'm on my Xr  but I think it's Devon Rich on the TTr an Tom on his Wr an it was on this run that day that I made my mind up to get a TTR after looking over Richards bike.

Crikey - you get about Pug!

Whereabouts is that lane? I would be interested to see its current status.

It is just down as closed I think I have not been down it this year but did the end of last as I was passing sort of thing found a dog walk video from this year on said lane [see link] Tom new all the closed an abandoned roads a tracks as well as the ones on the maps took me to lanes I know are not on the TRF maps he slipped me a KML file with all paths on it marks all foot paths bridleways rights of way closed roads on it told me if I passed it on he would hunt me down find me an rip my head off so I look after it an keep it close but hears a snap shot but this KML must be two years out of date now will show you it if you catch me with a laptop in hand some time but after he said that about it I don't want to let copies of it pass on. The Byway / boats are blue an green on it a good hand full are not on the TRF overlays like this blue one near Kilmington. would be happy to sit down with the map some time let you take notes as I know you are now dying for a look at it.
