Sticky indicator switch

Hi all - the indicator switch on my 2005 TTR is sticky - does not move freely left/right but does still work. Any tips on how to resolve before I start getting the tools out ?

Spray some WD40/GT85 in there using the straw. Might well blast some crap out of there and free it up.
