Is that on the Big XT or TTr motor if it's the TTr then it's time for the 325 cc liner an all in all bud you are not having a lot of luck up your way are you................ there was a TTr barrel piston on the bay for £60 last week for a cheap fix keep us posted

It's a 263cc barrel and bellow the the piston rings and the piston doesn't even touch it as the gudgeon pin is in the area so I have tig welded in cleaned up the out side and put a honing brush acros it to neaten it up will be alright. If not that's life I geuss

That should work I have got away with similar in the past worst use to be the Honda xr 400 500 600 650 bastard things use to crack around the plug hole an valve seats. use to have to mill a big chunk out from inside an out an get a mate to fill it with weld then re-mill it all. did 3-4 of them like that. even spent two weeks making a one off head for a chap who use to race the 650 big big time he got me two alloy billet's about 14 x 14 x 3.5 inch's to make one out of still have one of them under the bench just waiting for the right job.

Spent my time as a snotty teen around the right sort of bike people an with time in the REME an EOD of about 16 years I can say I'm no Engineer I was never given anything for that the only Wall paper I have say's I'm a Carpenter Joiner
