Our dear friend and TRF stalwart Oliver Cooke passed away peacefully today after a very long battle with cancer.
When the doctor's gave him 3 days to live he turned it into 15 weeks, when they gave him 3 hours he turned it into nearly 4 days.
He was always a tough Enduro competitor, and now we can see why.
Olly has entertained many new members to their first trail ride and played a leading role in inaugurating the prestigious Axe-to-Exe event from where some of you guys will have met him giving the riders briefings etc.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with his partner Jane and his family at this time.
Very sorry to hear this news. My sincerest condolences to his family.
The A2E won't be the same without him handing out the keys and toilet rolls!
RIP Olly.
"The funeral has been confirmed for Wednesday 30th December with the bike cavalcade leaving the house in Drakes Avenue, Exmouth, at 10 am and Exeter Crematorium for 10.45. Can you post it forum please so everyone knows.

Let's see if we can get a good turnout of bikes as I am sure Olly will be watching proceedings!
I took the 325 to sunny Sidmouth on Friday where I was asked to hand over the Devon TRF Group cheque for nearly £2,500 to Olly's cancer charity - Marie Curie. Not bad for a bunch of scruffy "scramblers" eh?
We had a trail riding event (Axe-to-Exe or A2E) based at Woodbury Brake for a weekend where paying guests from TRF groups across the country were invited to come ride our lovely green lanes.
This event was inaugurated by my late friend Olly and the 2016 event was dedicated to his memory. I think a few members of the forum will have met Olly at the event over previous years.
£400 was raised in a draw and the rest from the guest fees. I led a group on the Saturday with Trev as my tail end Charlie and it was great that my son Matt joined us as well - good day's riding and lots of dosh raised
The manager of the Marie Curie charity shop was well chuffed!
Managed to get a photo with my tatty TTR in focus but the cheque handover was done with my mate's CRF250X
