Hi guys. So when I brought my ttr is has the oko 34mm flat side fitted, when I brought the bike it was perfecr around 40 miles into the ride home the bike started to run away with its self and idle fast at traffic lights , I made it home none the less, I put the bike away in the back cornor of my garage and a week later when I went to go green laneing and dug the bike out. It seems to be idling way to fast, i got a mile from the garage and the woodruff key snapped. So orders that up and the throttle cable has a little slack and I can't work out what screw is the idle but. What ever I seem to do dosent make a difference to the fast idle
looking at the pic.... the intake rubber between the carb & motor
looks like it could be a good place for a air leak... A intake air leck
could cause what you discribe...
a easy way to see if theres a air leck is to spray engine start around
the out side of the intake rubber while the motor is at idle... If the motor revs up
for a second or so the engine start is being sucked in though a air leck...
I think I found a post from the previous owner. Ma77 I think , and it says that he had it running right do you know the size of the outlet so I can get a juiblee clip for it and see how I. Get out many thanks
