Thought I'd post a few pics from this years VINCE pyrenean orientiering event. Sorry if some are the wrong way up! An excellent 2 days in the mountains of Catalan Spain following routes to waypoints laid out by Mr Austin Vince himself. Superb fun, if exhausting, in a noncompetitive (sometimes!) atmosphere. Highly recommended. This was my fourth.

Last 3 years events have been won by teams containing a majority of ttrs!

Awe inspiring scenery:

Alright, the last 2 were taken on the prescout for next year's event, camerawork by Mr V himself.

Can't recommend this event enough, and Oliana is probably the top venue in the series. No excuses, get out there!

Simon.

Booked up with my usual team already. No TTR again though, the extended range Husky performed too well this year!

Time you sorted efi for the ttr I think Simon! How's the seat on the Husky over a 12 hour day?

Ride safe,

Simon.

I'll certainly give you that Simon, the TTR wins hands down for comfort, but with cycling shorts, the Husky seat was ok for a 12hr day. Comfort, bombproofness and politeness that's what the TTR wins on.

EFI,  another 20hp and shedding about 20kg and I reckon the TTR would give the Husky a run for its money...

@Moo:
Perfect for them! The left hand ttr in the 2nd pic is on Mefo Explorers I believe, which seemed to work really well too, although I think they're slightly milder than the Heidis. Have to admit my front was an Army Special not a K60 - purely 'cause I'm happy with it on all terrain but the rear AS I use at home is not so great on rock, and has a horrible vibration over 50mph! (I have 2 sets of wheels so swapping tyres on a whim is easier!)

@Pete:
They're all nice trails! This one was particularly beautiful, and remote.
