Anyone got any tips for when I eventually take this lot off and renew it all. It is rusty as well, i'm expecting the nuts to jut crumble when any force is applied.
I'll probably use a nut splitter to get them off. Main worry is the studs snapping off in the head.

Been spraying with wd40 everyday so hopefully soak through and I can apply some heat with a blowtorch. But any other ideas?

I doubt you will have any problems removing the nuts but be aware that they will 99% certainly come out with the studs attached.

PS I saw a poor old lady fall over today on the ice!!  At least I presume she was poor - she only had £1.20 in her purse.

Good thing I included a set of exhaust studs and exhaust clamp in the order I got from you today :D

Old stud wouldnt push through as the rust had oversized it.  A tap with a hammer was needed

Even if the nut come off the thread was rusted

50,000 km. Studs never been out, but did replace nuts twice as beach rides destroys them 

Had the parts on standby ordered from Steves TTR shop.  

Oil leak isnt the decompression plug, its when i had the cam chain replaced, a slow leak in that corner of valve cover

I haven't tried it myself but it was suggested to me that it would be a god idea to use domed and chromed nuts on the exhaust header studs to prevent them rusting on.
