Hello 

Having trouble figuring out what's making noise on my top end, I've fitted new valve springs, reground valve seats and redone shims to correct shims and still tapperty, any ideas

Had a similar problem with mine. My oil pump was badly worn, new one and thicker oil fixed it. Think it's the cams rattling in the head but could not feel any play. Is a measure ment in the workshop manual for cam to cap clearance.

Noiser exhaust helps as well
