Funky way of propping the bike up. What route has he taken etc?

I had a mate who used to carry around a bit of broom stick cut to the exact length to do the same as Robin. Very useful in keeping the TTR upright when removing/replacing the rear wheel wink

I usually end up scrabbling around the nearest hedge for something to use.

No more info on Robin's trip - sorry - just the photos.

Brian

Ugly stick www.adventurebikerider.com/forum/28-for-sale-wanted/439258-ugly-sticks-for-sale-bike-standprop-for-puncture-repairs-or-wheel-removal.html
I made one to keep the front wheel up on my Tenere , not had to use it yet.

Looks like he has got his propped up under the bottom of the frame somewhere. I might make something up. Probably a bit better than using a mates front wheel!

Great shot on that switchback, looks like some high quality single track and a fun ride up the canyon.

Works on the front too.

The car chose to park there after we started in case you think we were reckless
