Any of you lot ever been pulled for standing up on the pegs whilst negotiating bumpy bits of public road ?

Tomorrow, I have to go see a Maltese cop, that saw me standing on the pegs as I was going over an undulating stretch of Maltese public tarmac.

No but we were warned when on a trail riding holiday in Spain that the Spanish cops will pull you for standing.

Maybe I can blame it all on those 'bar-risers' that Brian&Trish recently supplied to me.

I quite often stand up on bikes for 30 secs or so on the road to 'denumb' my butt, whether on my ttr or my 1300cc. Never been moaned at. Get few funny looks though sometimes!

Im thinking standing on the pegs on the road looks agressive to cops. (But looks natural on tracks), had a bloke coming towards me standing on pegs opposite me at traffic lights.  I thought to myself , what is he up too, is he planing to go over the top of the cars stopped at the red light. .  There is also a young bloke in my area hooning on a wr450 (registerd) popping wheelies on the roads. Hope the cops dont think its me.
