well my supermoto almost killed me due to a incompetent mechanic I got a flat tyre over night So sent my partner off to get a new tube comes back all good on the bike start riding 10 miles in leaning pretty far over all went horribly wrong as the bike tyre let go and sent me flying along the ground. So I phoned the garage in a absalute rage that the tyre had let go to find out they never even checked the tyre for nails or even gravel absalute d#*ks. Bike now needs handle bars, fuel tank, rear number board, hand guards. And my trousers jacket and helmet are all for the bin but I am okay thank good

Feel for you I picked up a nail on a fast sweeping bend on a T150 years back tire went flat just like that tire peeled off the rim bike went down the road with me following it. big pisser was I had just finished a re-build on it turning it into a x75 and it went down on the exhaust side took out all 3 Exhaust pipes and the tank and seat unit in one go. I was gutted but re-built it for the 2nd time don't lose hart the TTr is worth it.
As much as I would like to take them to take them to court. they have agreed to repair the bike with all new parts replace all my gear and compensate me for time off work I have used them for years me and the manager had a good chat about it he was apologetic. Plus I haven't got round to changing my insurance for the supermoto wheels have done now though.
