Welcome! Nice bike! Quite deep nobbles on the rear tyre there, cant quite make it out, are they e10's or co2's or something??

Hi Francis.  Is that a TTR you sketched in you profile photo.  You must have alot of warm to hot days in that part of the world.  You may need extra oil changes if always riding in hot climates.

Hi Pete, Just changed the tires recently (haven't broken them in yet) though not quite sure what you meant by e10 co2, unfortunately getting genuine spares here is quite hard and those where the only tires that were available. I do both commute(most) and a bit of off-road.
we do have warm weather here most of the time but it really doesn't go beyond 80F so still fine.

Qn.
I always have to choke the bike every morning for it to start, wondering if buying a new plug would change anything. i'd have to order for it cause i bought one here and still had the same issue
