For that price you can't go wrong, I have 3 gopro's 170SD hero don't use it anymore, HD hero & still use it as a 2nd cam & a 3 all of which cost $300 to $350 aus plus all the extras like batteries, LED screen, extra mounts, WiFi for the HD.
Another reason to use the camera as much as possible, the biggest problem you may have would be mounts which is another reason I've stuck with gopro as my mounts are all interchangeable between the cameras.
I only use around 1 minute of each hour but the other day I used my remote to control both cameras & only recorded the good bits & used all the footage, also more interesting to follow another bike but I'm not a expert by any means
Have just got an sj4000 wifi and it's a nice bit of kit you will need a battery for each hour an a half of use see my No bull post for some video from it but youtube kill's the quality. on screen at home it's not far off what you would get with a £200 pound cam well worth the money

Was just on Ebay having a look at the SJ4000 cameras, looks ok
As on previous post the mounts are important to reduce the shake or movement & of course the loss of the camera.
I upload all my videos at 720HD & the quality on youtube is ok at that

Where did you get yours from Martyn? I know you have to be careful not to get a fake.....

Got it hear http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301557374178?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
At this price you get two batterys and a 32gb card with it all set to rock an roll I did spend ten more on two more battery's and a twin charger so I can get 6 + hours of use out of it the battery's take 3 hours to charge so you don't get time out on a run to do them. think this is the same cam you are looking at on ebay for £21 with free post. it look's even better at that price. and yes you have to watch out for the copy's lot's of them out there but some of them are around the £25 mark and good for that sort of money as well
They really are cheap aren't they, if you just want to upload some low-res stuff to Youtube shoot 480@60fps and they will be perfect
I always shoot 720@60fps, it makes a huge difference to the recording, that's the best A Hero2 Will do at 60fps and that will eliminate artifacts and blurring
I'll probably upgrade one day, most likely pick up a second hand GoPro3+Black on ebay that is most likely hardly used, A lot of people buy them and don't use them much
The 3+ will do 1080@60fps or 720@120fps, good for slow-mo, and second hand in Oz for around $200 with a few goodies thrown in as well

I record all mine at 960 that gives a better view & doesn't have to be set up on the helmet 100% (the angle that is) I upload to youtube at 720 & still gives the HD option
Good fun going back through the video & finding the thrills & spills of the day but I'm not sure if others like them or not, the guys on the ride do but it's not a big problem

So Terry
Do you have a Gopro3 or a 2, I've never tried 960@48fps, that's on the 2, gives you some more room to crop into and do stabilisation on as well
I'll give it a go next time I'm out
Cheers

On the HD 1 I use the default setting 4 I think that's 960 x 30fps & on the 3 it's 960 x 25fps this gives good quality & enough top & bottom of screen, if I record at 1080 I miss out on the handle bars & also easy to get just the ground or sky. I guess you might have seen 1 or 2 of my videos on here using various mounting positions, nothing worse that having several hours of just dirt or just sky...BTW my 3 is just the cheap one white I think, but I have a extra battery (battery backpack) gives me 5 hours of recording & with the remote on the bars I can turn it off in the boring bits, in fact on some of the latest videos where I didn't even edit you can see me hit the remote & can also see the HD 1 on the bars. The remove controls both cameras at the same time
