Loaded the bike onto the pick up and of I went to wales. Joining me was Paul from the devon trf and garry from this here forum! (he has a blue ttr) and is crazybiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Now we were not going to try to win it this year, just enjoy the event and do as many lanes as possiblesmilesmile

So we set of a bit worse for wear on Saturday morningno

It all worked out really well, many a great lane to be had and a great laugh on our way around.

Sarn Helen was firstsmile( took a dab on that, pi**ed me off) was as good as usual and the bolder lane after that one is something special! We carried on doing loads of lanes real mix of rock and more rockbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin not much mud around, although it was raining on both days,. Had lunch in llandovery, very nice toosmile Lot's of trail riders aroundwink

Then a bit of road work to have a play in Brechfa Forest and had a great laugh in there! We found some mudsmilesmile

Me and Garry had a TTR water racebiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

 Think the blue ttr wonno

After a stop to dry off we headed out to our last lane it is at Ynys-brechfa....... Now I have done a few hard lanes twitchen, ruggadon, snapper, simms, sarn Helen, devil steps, now this lane made them look easyblankstareblankstare

I have never been down a descent so steep with so many hair pins and with so many bouldersblankstare Imagine fingle bridge (rocky devon lane)on steroids and you get the idea! We were doing well and all three of us had nearly got down it clean, when I had my first off that daynono on the penultimate hair pin bend and I was glad of the restbiggrinbiggrin

Now normally I would have gone up it, but we were all cream crackered by then and have vowed to go back and ride up it next yearwinkwink

Not sure where we came, will post up results when I have themsmile

Very good event, with very good company and lots of beerbiggrin ACE!

On Sunday we were split into groups and taken out for a ride by the local ladssmile

On our ride out a tenere decided to pack up at the bottom of a steep lanecrycry I went down to see what was going on and ended up towing him up! Think he was more than surprised at what a TTR can dobiggrinbiggrin And a bit embarrassed my little bike could pull he's outbiggrinbiggrin He took back all that he said and lucky he did or I would have left him there nono Might be able to get some video footagewinkwink

Here's a Piccy

Brilliant report and well done Steve.

I, for one, am looking forward to the Taffy results and hope they are what you want.
