Weather was going to be dry, so the forecast said, with chance of a shower in the afternoon, so the plan was to head out from base camp ie Crediton in Mid Devon and head out towards Honiton and then down to Ottery St Mary then Exeter and back to base camp staying well off any main roads.

Kick off time was set for 9pm and the aim was to do about 6-7 hours riding make the round trip on one full tank of fuel taking in some 40-45 lanes and stuff are faces with an egg, bacon and sausage bap for dinner.

So how did we do and what did we find out.

1. Egg, bacon and sausage bap's are awesome especially when the egg bursts and drips from it;

2. We covered 36 lanes;

3. Luck was with us, it just started to rain on the last 3 lanes and we made it home before it pissed down

4. Oly seems to have a real fear of dropping his bike in water, don’t we all, just ask Brian;

5. Lots an lots of dust when it's been this dry well up till the part it got damp;

6. How come the memory Map sat nav can get a signal inside my house yet put it under a tree or bush and no signal;

7. Big Bulls look very small when they are a long way off lucky this one did not like TTr's;

8, There are a lack of banjo shops out that way and no one seems to have a porch to play one on anyway;

9. Lots of strange people on foot in the woods out that way, On Dartmoor they would probably be just looking after their Stills.
