Flinders Ranges ride 2015

We trailered the bikes up to the Flinders Ranges for 5 days of riding dirt roads, gravel roads, gorges, Public access roads & farm tracks, we did just over 1000kms over the 5 days & had a ball. I going to share some videos & photos of our trip

 That's true, not a big fan of mud & is due to the fact we don't ride in mud, we have rocks, sand, creekbeds etc.

Lovey country must be nice to have so much open ground. I never liked riding on corrugated roads but dust/sand riding now that an art form have spent time desert riding and  I could see you feeling very closterfobic in the tight lanes hear in Devon UK and we have the best stickiest ****ty mud going love the stuff biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

By far the cheapest way of achieving that is to to take a long weekend and visit Baz & Kaz at the Adventure Rider Centre or Lyndon at Torotrail  

Been down there several time with my bro' or mates and they give you an excellent time in almost guaranteed perfect weather.

Fly down Friday, ride Saturday and Sunday and fly back Monday.

 The photos & videos don't do it justice, it's a lot rougher than it looks but the 2 TTR just flew along through the creeks & rocks.

We had great weather sunshine every day & 22c to 27c for the week & dust being the only problem, Dave & myself rode 120 odd kms side by side to keep out of the dust, twisty sandy & dirt roads & didn't even see a single person.

Uploading a couple of videos from Dave's gopro, he had it on the bars & shows the speed & rocks a little better

 Yes I may well have to check out torotrail one year, looks fun, £450 aint too bad for what your getting.

 Little different from over your way but I guess we are used to the dusty open spaces & 300 to 400km day rides, the TTR does a mighty job & the Flinders Ranges is perfect for riding dirt bikes, station tracks, public access tracks through huge stations, public dirt & gravel roads & lots of rocks.

I ran 20psi in the tyres to prevent flats, not a lot of grip but better overall. As per previous post I have added more videos if anyone is interested just search for kaneterry on youtube & like or share if you think it's ok
