Hello every one! Excited to be a part of this wonderful community. I got my hands on a 2000 TTR250 Blue e-start only, about a year ago. I must say, I'm very happy with the bike so far. I have it running like a top with stage 2 jetting, FMF exhaust and racing air filter and box mod. Again, I'm excited to be a part of this forum and will volunteer as much info as I can.

Brandon

Welcome to the forum Brandon!

Your TTR looks very smart for a 15-year-old bike. Obviously well cared for biggrin

Welcome to the TTR forum, Brandon.

It is a nice looking TTR you have there - clean too.

It seems you have your own personal cloud under which to park to get it washed clean? confuse

biggrin Martyn

Thanks everyone! I'm in the habit of washing it after every ride. The clay here will stain very quickly and it can be tough to remove. The gas tank has the standard "browning" issue and the factory graphics were lost so I opted for a graphics kit... A lot of elbow grease, metal polish and a graphics kit cleaned it up nice!

I am lucky, I have no valve or timing chain chatter. I did have the classic intake manifold/boot separation now repaired thanks to you guys. I had a few carb issues (No cold start) due to the bike sitting in storage for several years with ethanol in it (previous owner). Nothing that some oem carb parts and chem dip couldn't fix right up. I'll take a dirty carb any day. Thanks for the kind comments!
