Yamaha 230 exhaust end tip/arrestor fit a ttr250?

I have an opportunity to quiet down my TTR with a muffler end tip found online...from a 230.  Will this 3 bolt pattern end tip, which looks the same exchange to my ttr250?  Or are the muffler ends different diameters?  The previous owner lost the end tip, and I am stuck.

Here is a pic of the 230 end, but I am 1000 miles away from home to compare visuals.

Yours doesn't appear to be a standard TTR exhaust end - as far as I can tell. no

This is my UK example

which isn't normally removable or replaceable.

Why not try an adaptation of your set up? confuse

Yes, exactly the USA model. That's it, and look identical.

D'you know,  I've never asked them, they were there as a fixture when I bought the bike and never been touched. biggrin

I suppose they are holding the thing all together. confuse

I take full responsibility! I thought they rivets looked better than the holes a previous owner had drilled wink
